• Russian is written in Cyrillic, and personal names have several coexisting Latin transliterations — the translator matches the spelling in your passport or NIE so every document in your file agrees.
• Russian names include a patronymic (otchestvo) between given name and surname; the certified translation preserves it and explains its position where useful.
• Soviet-era and modern documents differ in format and terminology; older records with typewritten text, seals and handwritten entries are translated with each element accounted for.
• Russian-language documents are also issued outside the Russian Federation — the translation identifies the actual issuing state and follows its terminology.
