Under Orden AUC/213/2025 (March 2025), sworn translations in Spain can be issued as digitally signed PDFs by a MAEC-appointed translator, using a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS Reg. (EU) 910/2014. Requirements may vary by authority, procedure, and document type — always check with the receiving institution.
Do I need to send the original document?
No. Upload a clear photo or PDF. If the image quality is too low to translate accurately, we will ask you to re-upload before work starts.
How long does a sworn translation take?
Standard delivery is 2 business days between Spanish and English, German or French, and 4 business days for other language pairs. Express: 24 hours. Priority (common documents only): 6–12 hours. The selected deadline is the delivery commitment shown before payment.
