Terms & Conditions

1. Service provider
Traducet is a sworn translation platform operated by Eivura SL (CIF: B26588327), Avinguda de Roma 23, 43005 Tarragona, España. Translations are performed by MAEC-appointed sworn translators acting as independent service providers.
2. The service
Traducet provides a platform to request, pay for, and receive sworn translations of official documents for use before Spanish authorities. All translations are performed by translators holding an appointment from Spain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC).
3. Acceptance guarantee
If a translation delivered by Traducet is rejected by a Spanish authority on the grounds of translation quality or certification, Traducet will arrange a free redo. This guarantee does not cover rejections due to issues with the source document itself (e.g., missing apostille, illegible original).
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are displayed IVA-inclusive. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Traducet does not store card details. The contract between you and Eivura SL is formed at the moment payment is confirmed by Stripe.
5. Delivery
The SLA shown at the time of ordering is a guaranteed deadline. If Traducet fails to deliver by this deadline, you are entitled to a full refund upon request to hola@traducet.com.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tarragona, Spain, with the parties waiving any other forum that may correspond to them.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, LGDCU) consumers ordinarily have 14 days to withdraw from distance contracts. However, pursuant to Art. 103(a) LGDCU, this right does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content or services that have begun with the consumer's prior express consent.
By submitting your order you expressly request the immediate commencement of the translation service and acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal is waived once work has started. If you wish to cancel before the translator has begun work, please contact hola@traducet.com as soon as possible — we will do our best to accommodate your request and issue a refund where work has not commenced.
8. User obligations
You agree that any document you upload:
- is a document you are entitled to submit for translation;
- does not infringe third-party intellectual property or confidentiality rights without authorisation;
- does not contain malicious code or material that is unlawful under applicable law.
Traducet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that violates these conditions, with a full refund of the amount paid.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eivura SL's total liability for any claim arising from the use of Traducet is limited to the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim. Eivura SL is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. The acceptance guarantee in Section 3 constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy for translation quality defects.
10. Complaints and dispute resolution
To raise a complaint, contact hola@traducet.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve the dispute amicably, you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our ODR contact point: hola@traducet.com.
11. Modifications
Eivura SL may update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
