What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Traducet uses a minimal set of cookies to operate the service.

Cookies and similar storage we use

We use Google Consent Mode in its basic configuration: the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all — and no request is sent to Google — until you accept analytics cookies, and the Google Ads tag is not loaded until you separately accept advertising cookies. Traducet does not activate or use audience segments for remarketing, personalized advertising, or audience targeting; the ad-personalization signal is permanently disabled regardless of your choice. Where you give advertising consent, Google Ads is used for conversion measurement and campaign attribution of our own campaigns only. The same applies to Microsoft Advertising: its Universal Event Tracking tag is not loaded, and no request is sent to Microsoft, until you accept advertising cookies, and it is used solely to record that a paid order took place, its value in euros, and the payment reference that prevents the same order being counted twice. Microsoft does not document a duration for each individual cookie; at vendor level, Microsoft Advertising cookies and identifiers may persist for up to 13 months, and Microsoft may retain UET data for up to 390 days. We do not use Microsoft Clarity, and we do not send Microsoft your email address, telephone number or any other identifying information (the "enhanced conversions" feature is disabled). We also use Vercel Analytics — cookieless, aggregated audience measurement without cross-site tracking — which we likewise load only with your analytics consent.

The same consent rule governs the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited: it is not loaded, and no request is sent to Meta, until you accept advertising cookies. Where you give advertising consent, it is used for advertising measurement, attribution and campaign effectiveness for our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, in two ways.

Page views. It records a page view on the public pages of this site, so that we can see how our campaigns perform. It runs only on an explicit list of public pages: no page view is ever sent from your account area, the checkout page, the order-confirmation page, our price-and-availability and document-review request forms, a delivery link, or any private or personalised page, and the tag is not loaded at all if you arrive directly on one of them — with a single exception for completed purchases, described next.

Purchase conversions. When you complete a paid order, we may send Meta a purchase conversion from the order-confirmation page, so that we can tell which campaigns lead to actual orders rather than only to visits. That page is the one exception to the rule above: it is where the tag may be loaded, and it is loaded there for this purpose only. What is sent is limited to the fact that a purchase took place, the gross amount you actually paid, the currency (EUR), and an opaque Traducet reference used only so that the same purchase is not counted twice. That reference is derived from the payment by a one-way hash, so it discloses no Stripe identifier; it means nothing outside our own measurement and cannot be used to make or look up a payment. No page view is sent from the order-confirmation page, before or after such a conversion.

What we do not send. We do not send Meta your name, email address, telephone number, postal or billing address, tax or identity number, your documents, their contents or file names, the languages or the procedure your order concerns, your order reference, or any Stripe payment identifier — and beyond the monetary value described above, nothing about what you ordered. We do not use Meta's Advanced Matching, customer-list matching or Conversions API features. Our payment pages are hosted by Stripe on Stripe's own domain, and no Traducet Meta code runs there: nothing you enter into the Stripe payment form — your card details above all — is seen by, or sent to, Meta by us. When the Meta Pixel sends an event, Meta also receives standard browser and connection information associated with that request, such as the page address, device type, screen size and IP address. The browser may also provide referrer information, depending on the browser and applicable referrer policy. When present after returning from Stripe, that referrer may identify Stripe's payment site; Traducet does not send Meta any Stripe payment identifier. Like every other advertising technology on this site, it is optional and stays disabled until you choose to accept it.

We additionally use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our public forms against automated abuse. It is a security control, not an analytics or advertising tool: Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use cookies to collect or store information of any kind, and we have not enabled its optional pre-clearance cookie — which is why it appears in no row of the table above. Because it is strictly necessary to keep our forms usable and protected, it loads for every visitor regardless of your cookie choices, and it is never used for advertising, profiling, or measuring your behaviour across sites.

Managing and withdrawing cookies

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the website footer — this will re-open the consent banner. When you withdraw consent for a category, we stop loading the related tags and delete the first-party cookies and local-storage entries they created (for example _ga, _ga_*, _gcl_au, _gcl_ls, _uetsid, _uetvid, _fbp and _fbc). Cookies that a third party may have set on its own domain under a choice you made earlier cannot be deleted by Traducet; they expire on their own once the related tags stop loading, or you can remove them in your browser settings. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings; disabling the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to your account.
